Political Engagement at Oregon AFSCME

We as union members need to co-govern with our elected officials.

Outside of the bargaining table, we are major stakeholders in Oregon legislative policy. Policies made at the local, state, and national level directly impact our working conditions, wages, benefits, and our rights as employees. Therefore, it’s essential that we elect pro-worker candidates, and hold them accountable once they’re in office.
